CONNECT THE DOTS

During the fall semester of my junior year, myself and three other robotics students worked on a final project aiming to teach a robot how to play connect the dots. We worked with Baxter Robot (by Rethink Robotics) and programmed the robot using ROS.

We used the onboard RGB cameras and depth sensors to detect where the dots were and how high the table holding the whiteboard was. We then plan and execute a path through each dot that keeps the marker intact with the gripper while also connecting each dot.
